Terms and Conditions of Sale and Warranty

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of all commercial and industrial laundry equipment supplied by Dwas Tex Pvt Ltd. By purchasing equipment from the Company, the Customer agrees to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

  • Company: Refers to Dwas Tex Pvt Ltd.
  • Customer: Refers to the business purchasing the machinery.
  • Equipment: Refers to the commercial or industrial laundry machinery supplied by Dwas Tex Pvt Ltd.

2. One-Year Limited Warranty

Dwas Tex Pvt Ltd provides a limited warranty on all new equipment supplied.

  • Coverage: Twelve (12) months parts and labour warranty covering manufacturing defects.
  • Commencement: The warranty begins on the date of delivery or installation, whichever occurs first.
  • Scope: The warranty includes repair or replacement of defective components together with the engineering labour required for installation, subject to the exclusions listed below.

3. Warranty Exclusions and Limitations

The warranty does not cover the following circumstances:

  • Wear and Tear: Normal deterioration resulting from everyday use.
  • Consumable Parts: Components designed for periodic replacement, including but not limited to:
    • Door seals
    • Drive belts
    • Water hoses
    • Filters
    • Lint bags
  • Misuse or Neglect: Damage caused by operator error, overloading, inadequate routine maintenance, failure to clean lint filters, or foreign objects entering the machine.
  • External Factors: Damage caused by incorrect electrical supply, fluctuating voltage, unsuitable water pressure, inadequate drainage, or poor ventilation.
  • Unauthorised Repairs or Modifications: Any repair, modification, or tampering carried out by engineers who have not been authorised in writing by Dwas Tex Pvt Ltd will immediately void this warranty.

4. Exclusion of Consequential Loss (Loss of Work)

The liability of Dwas Tex Pvt Ltd is strictly limited to repairing or replacing defective parts covered under this warranty.

The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial losses resulting from equipment downtime.

Examples of excluded losses include, but are not limited to:

  • Loss of business revenue
  • Loss of work or contracts
  • Spoiled or damaged linen
  • Staff downtime or idle labour costs
  • Costs incurred for outsourcing laundry services
  • Any other indirect or economic losses permitted by applicable UK law

5. Retention of Title

Legal and beneficial ownership of the Equipment shall remain with Dwas Tex Pvt Ltd until the Customer has paid the invoice in full, including any outstanding balances.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

General Provisions

Dwas Tex Pvt Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice where required by law or business necessity.
